As a creative person, I feel like I live from holiday to holiday. I’m always focussed on what’s coming next and sometimes I’m 2 to 3 holidays ahead of time. If you haven’t noticed, Easter is quickly sneaking upon us and will be here before you know it. I have an in-the-hoop embroidery project for Easter that you will love making. This is a great alternative for monogramming a basket or bucket if you find it difficult and stressful hooping a basket.

You can be as creative as you want by using different fabric colors and prints. This is a great way to use up some of your stash! (If you’re reading this blog, I know you have lot’s of fabric)!! How cute would these be all stitched up with coordinating fabric and placed in a basket to decorate your table.

This is also a fun project to make with your kids or grandkids. You know how some grandmas bake cookies with their grandkids? That’s not me!! My girls love to go in my sewing room and choose their fabrics and tell me to make them something, and of course I love it when they do that. This year we will be making more of these in-the-hoop Easter tags together. Now, I do bake cookies from time to time, but they usually burn because we go to the sewing room while they’re baking and forget about them! Life is just better in the sewing room!

If you have never made an in-the-hoop project and would like to try, click on the tutorial here to get step by step instructions and see just how simple these are to make. To purchase the designs, click here and use code ITHFUN for 25% off.

Happy sewing and remember while making these…. Bee creative, Bee unique, and create something extraordinary
